Synopsis: A group of students searching around the Pembina Valley, for people who have first hand experience with cancer. We want to ask questions about how they had dealt with it, and how they learned more about the disruption of the homeostatic processes in their body.
Hunt for a Cancer Cure
Synopsis: In this presentation we will be discussing the Hunt for the cure of cancer, and exploring topics such as the history of cancer, how cancer was treated from the past to the modern day, and theories of what cancer is.
Unanswered Questions about Cancer
Synopsis: A group of students researching some questions about cancer that people aren’t getting answers and finding how they are all connected to the body systems, we all be looking at how they questions are slowly getting answers through experiments and the advancement in technology.
Synopsis: In this presentation, we will be diving deep into cancer myths regarding carcinogens, lifestyle, and causes of cancer.
Synopsis: This presentation focuses on the statistics of cancer. We will be comparing continents, countries, provinces and people while emphasizing the importance of lifestyle and nutrition in preventing cancer.
A Cancer Case Study
Synopsis: Our group has chosen to research how marijuana affects cancer cells, the patients minds and well-being, and the bodies of those who use it while going through cancer treatments. We will be presenting it in a case study format.
Interviews with those affected by Cancer
Synopsis: We decided that we wanted to discuss and discover the emotional and physical aspects of cancer patients. and how having cancer affects their families and home lives. We will also be exploring the emotional burdens of caring for them.
Cellular Explanation of Cancer
Synopsis: Cancer on the molecular level. Focusing on mutations and development of cancer cells. How cell location, mutation types, and treatment affect this disease, its types and different stages.
